Women's Shoes and How Different Styles Impact Our Feet

Love how you look in high heels but worried about what they’re doing to your feet?

ParkwayHealth podiatrist Julie Verpiot is here to help you unravel the mystery of shoes and how they affect your body!  She’ll talk not only about heels, but about sneakers as well, giving you practical tips for choosing the right shoes for your body.  Additionally, she’ll offer easy solutions for daily problems and outline treatment options for common issues.  Feel free to bring (or wear!) your favorite pair of shoes for an on-the-spot analysis.  Please also be sure to bring any questions you may have!

About the speaker:

Julie Verpiot is a podiatrist seeing patients at the ParkwayHealth Gleneagles Medical & Surgical Center in Tomorrow Square. Julie has a Master’s Degree in Medical Podiatry from the National College of Medical Podiatry in Paris and is a member of the Alsacian Medical Society of Sports Traumatology.  Before joining ParkwayHealth, Julie worked as a full time podiatrist at the Clinique de l’Esperance in Belfort, France, for 8 years.  In addition to being fluent in both English and French, Julie is conversant in German and Mandarin.

• cancel your reservation one day before the event: no fee
• make a reservation and not cancel a day ahead: event fee is due and you must pay the fee in order to attend other EPWS events

Please note that the changes in our registration policy will become effective on March 1^st 2010.

It concerns the following:

1. RSVP deadlines

• For evening events, latest RSVP accepted will be 12.00pm on the day of the event.
• For daytime events (e.g. Power Breakfast, Job Club), latest RSVP accepted will be 12.00pm on the day prior to the event.

2. Walk-in Fee

• We will charge an RMB50 supplement to the entrance fee for attendees who come to an event without prior RSVP.
